Melissa and Joe Gorga decided not to attend Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas after their longstanding feud became “too toxic”.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star also said the public doesn’t yet know the full truth about why she and Joe, 42, decided to skip his sister’s lavish wedding in New Jersey — citing problems with the new husband. from Guidice.
“[There were] previous fights with Louie that we’ve never talked about and that we’ve decided to cover up because we want Teresa to be happy,” Melissa added.
“There are things we keep silent about because we want her to be happy and have a good life.”
Melissa and Joe didn’t go into detail about the cause of the fights between them and Louie, 46, but confirmed that there was an outburst during the Season 13 finale filmed earlier this month.
“Yeah, there was a bit of aggression from certain people that could have been a little scary,” noted the owner of the Envy boutique.

Joe, meanwhile, said he was devastated that he missed his sister’s big day, but said he apparently had no choice.
“For me it was devastating,” he said. “It was one of the hardest days of my life.”
Joe also clarified that he was “never asked” to walk Giudice down the aisle — since their father died two years ago — and said he felt like his sister, Melissa, wanted their kids or him “barely” at the wedding. .
“I have to think about my life now,” said the businessman. “I don’t want to be depressed. I want to go into someone’s house or go to the same room and feel loved and wanted.”
Despite their differences, Joe praised how the wedding went, saying it “looked like a great wedding and we were bummed we weren’t there for many reasons.”
He and Melissa then closed the segment with good wishes to their fellow “RHONJ” co-star and her new marriage.
“We will always love Teresa very much and hope that now she has everything she wants and that her girls are happy and that this was Teresa’s long and happy life,” said Melissa.
Joe added: “It looked like a fairytale wedding and I’m so proud of her. I’m happy for her.”
