Honor introduced the Honor Pad V8 Pro with the Dimensity 8100 chipset in December 2022. Now, the Chinese manufacturer has introduced its vanilla version, known as the Honor Pad V8. The new Honor tablet’s features, price, and specifications are detailed below.
Specifications and capabilities of the Honor Pad 8
The Honor Pad V8 has an 11-inch LCD screen with a 2.5K resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet is powered by the Dimensity 8020 processor, which is solely renamed Dimensity 1100. The Pad V8 is the first tablet to incorporate the D8020 processor.
The front-facing camera on the Honor Pad V8 is 5 megapixels. On its back is a camera module with a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED light. In addition, the tablet has four speakers.
The Honor Pad V8 features a massive 7,250mAh battery with support for 22.5W charging. Only Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections are supported by the tablet. The design of the Pad V8 is compact and lightweight, with a thickness of 7.35mm and a weight of 485 grams.
While the device has a new moniker and a new processor, it offers the same specs as the Honor Tab V7 Pro, which was introduced in August 2021.
Price and availability for the Honor Pad 8
In China, two versions of the Honor Pad V8 have appeared. The base model, which includes 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage, is priced at 1,799 Yuan ($260). The more expensive edition with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs 1,899 Yuan ($275).
