Kate Beckinsale debuts tattoos in honor of her mother and daughter

Nothing says “I love you” quite like a tattoo.

Kate Beckinsale paid tribute to her mother and daughter with two tattoos. On Wednesday, the actress shared a photo of her recent arm tattoos, tagging artist Brian Keith Thompson.

The small tattoos say “mama” in various handwritings, spelled out by mother British actress Judy Loe, 75, and daughter Lily Sheen, 23, who she shares with ex Michael Sheen.

“The two I will kill and die for,” the 49-year-old Underworld actress wrote dramatically to the Instagram photo, adding another photo of her mother and daughter hugging.

“Beautiful,” wrote one follower, “to think that at some point both you and Lily started life in your mother. You must love the human body!” Fans called their band “holy” and called the tattoos “so sweet.”

Beckinsale and her daughter are very close. In April, Lily told Vidak For Congress that she is “very protective of her” mother, especially after the “Pearl Harbor” actress faced criticism from trolls in 2019 when she briefly dated Pete Davidson. “My mother is wonderful,” Lily exulted.

Sheen seems to be following in her family’s footsteps; she co-starred with Nicholas Cage in “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent,” which premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in March.

“So proud of you @lily_sheen,” Beckinsale wrote on Instagram at the time to support her daughter. “My beautiful brilliant baby is in this AMAZING, electric, vibrant, hilarious movie. … The movie is insane and awesome and everyone is awesome, but she’s clearly my favorite. I’m so excited to see you fly, little bird.’

“Thank you queen wowza!!!!!!!” remarked Lily. “You are the blueprint.”
