Teresa Giudice Responds to ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Elimination

Teresa Giudice’s “Dancing With the Stars” journey has come to an end.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star and her pro partner, Pasha Pashkov, were sent home Monday during “Elvis Night” after finishing in the bottom two for the second week in a row.

“Listen, it was a great experience. I had a great partner,” Giudice, 50, told Vidak For Congress via Zoom after her elimination.

“Finally my dream has come true. I’ve always wanted to dance,” she added. “I did two dances in front of a live audience and it was quite amazing. It was amazing.”

Giudice and Pashkov received an overall score of 23/40 — one of the lowest on the night — from the judges for their jive to “All Shook Up” during the Elvis Presley-themed episode.

After landing on the bottom, the pair were eliminated after chief judge Len Goodman broke a tie and voted to save actress Cheryl Ladd and her professional partner, Louis Van Amstel, over “#TeamPashibiliTRE.”

“Yeah, I don’t think Len really liked me that much,” Giudice told press reporters after the show with a laugh. ‘I don’t think he liked me. I knew Len wouldn’t choose me. I knew he would choose Cheryl over me. I already knew… I had a feeling.”

Giudice added that it’s “all good” because she felt like she wouldn’t be crowned the season 31 winner.

“I wanted to win the mirror ball… but you know what? There are a lot of great dancers in this show so I knew I wouldn’t [win]’ she admitted. “When I saw my match, I thought, ‘I’m definitely not going to win it.’ But I tried!”

Despite her elimination, Giudice remains positive and says she’s looking forward to spending extra time now with her new husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas.

The two tied the knot in August, a month before she began rehearsals for the dance competition series.

“I just got married and then I started ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ so it’s like I left my husband,” she explained. “I felt really bad, so at least now I can go home and spend time with” [him]because I just got married.”

Giudice also revealed who she would be nominating from the “Housewives” franchise in addition to “DWTS.” Other ladies who have previously participated in the show include Kenya Moore, Erika Jayne, Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna, Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak-Biermann.

“Jennifer Aydin,” she said to Vidak For Congress, before noticing her opponent coming to support her in the ballroom. “I wanted to ask Cynthia” [Bailey] to come next week, but… too late now.”

“Dancing With the Stars” returns Monday for “James Bond Night” at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Disney+.
