Teresa Giudice and Luis “Louie” Ruelas are reportedly honeymooning in Greece after their lavish wedding in New Jersey.
“It’s a very special place for them, and they look forward to celebrating their love for each other after the big party,” a source told the Daily Mail on Thursday.
The couple reportedly took a flight to Athens from Newark.
Ruelas, 47, previously proposed to the 50-year-old “Real Housewives of New Jersey” on the Greek island in October 2021.
The couple tied the knot on Saturday at Park Chateau Estate and Gardens in East Brunswick, NJ
The reality star turned heads with an intricate updo for the big day, which involved 1,500 hairpins.
Several Bravo stars from almost every ‘Housewives’ franchise attended, including Luann de Lesseps, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey and Ramona Singer.
The bride’s “RHONJ” co-stars, Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin, served as bridesmaids, as did Giudice’s four daughters, who she shares with ex-husband Joe Giudice. Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12, stunned in pink dresses.
Joe, 50, gushed about Teresa’s wedding look, telling Us Weekly that he thought she looked like a princess.
The fairytale wedding was not without its fair share of drama, however. Teresa’s brother and sister-in-law, Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga, did not attend the wedding.
There were rumors that the newlyweds were billing their relatives for missing their ceremony, but Ruelas denied those claims.
“We wouldn’t ask for money from Joe and Melissa in a million years — we’re not petty,” Ruelas wrote in an Instagram comment on Tuesday. “Joe and Melissa were missed.”
The co-founder of Digital Media Solutions has been dating Teresa since 2020. In September of the following year, she finalized her divorce from Joe.
The former Bravo personality for his part briefly teamed up with Daniella Fittpaldi before retiring in December 2021.
