Michael Jackson’s children Prince, Paris honor him on 64th birthday

Prince Jackson and Paris Jackson paid tribute to their late father, Michael Jackson, on what would have been his 64th birthday on Monday.

“Happy Birthday to the greatest!” Prince, 25, captioned a carousel of Instagram photos showing the King of Pop spending time with all three of his children at various stages in their lives.

“I miss you more and more, but I love you more and more every day. Thanks for everything 🙌🏼❤️,” he finished the post.

Meanwhile, Paris, 24, shared a photo on her Instagram story of her father kissing her when she was a little girl. She captioned it, “hbd ❤️.”

The “Thriller” singer died on June 25, 2009 at his Los Angeles home after suffering cardiac arrest caused by a deadly combination of drugs given to him by his personal physician, Conrad Murray.

Jackson’s birthday this year was tarnished after a new TV special revealed that the star at one point had 19 different fake IDs to “go doctor shopping” for prescriptions.

“The way Michael got all that medicine was doctor shopping. He had several different doctors that he was involved with, and he would go to “Doctor A” and ask for a sedative, and then he would go to “Doctor B” and maybe ask for the same thing,” says Jackson’s plastic surgeon Dr. . Harry Glassman claimed.

“Michael is largely responsible for his own demise, but he has certainly had a lot of help from the medical community.”

Murray, who was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for the role he played in Jackson’s death, said he had no idea of the “Billie Jean” crooner’s fondness for doctors.

“He made it seem like I was his only doctor,” Murray said in the special. “If I had known that Michael would go to a dermatologist’s or other doctor’s office and be shot or sprinkled with opioids on a daily basis, there would have been a two-step dance. First, he has a problem; two, I’ll take you where you need to be treated – and if you don’t, I’m gone.
