Meghan Markle’s Spotify podcast “Archetypes” returns on October 4, the streaming platform announced.
The Duchess of Sussex curtailed the release of new episodes out of respect for Queen Elizabeth, who died on September 8 at the age of 96.
Meghan and her husband Prince Harry attended the late monarch’s funeral on September 19 before returning home to California.
During a period of royal mourning, all members of the monarchy interrupted their official duties, including Markle, whose podcast launched in August.
“Regularly scheduled episodes will resume on Tuesday, October 4,” the podcast’s Spotify page read.
The upcoming episode welcomes comedian Margaret Cho, who will talk about navigating the entertainment industry as an Asian American.
Earlier episodes featured conversations with tennis legend Serena Williams, singer Mariah Carey and actress, director, producer and writer Mindy Kaling.
Upcoming guests include comedians Robin Thede and Ziwe Fumudoh.
“Archetypes” dethroned Joe Rogan’s “The Joe Rogan Experience” from the #1 spot the week of its release.
Meghan and Harry signed on the dotted line in late 2020 to host and produce podcasts for the streaming giant. The lucrative deal is valued at around $25 million.
