Meghan King and Cuffe Owens are “not cool” after their marriage was dissolved in December 2021.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” confirmed on Tuesday on the episode of Lala Kent’s podcast “Give Them Lala” that she and her ex-husband “don’t talk.”
The former reality star, 38, explained: “Why should? [we] to talk? There’s no reason to let it go on. It was declared null and void, so there is no property to split, whatever.
Kent, 32, agreed, saying, “What’s the point of talking afterwards? There’s no reason. Call it a day, have a good life.”
However, the “Vanderpump Rules” star noted that it’s been a “cool story” since President Joe Biden was at King’s October 2021 wedding to the politician’s cousin.
King admitted the circumstances were “a little crazy”.
She said that while it “just felt like a family wedding,” there were “at least as many” Secret Service members at the ceremony as there were guests.
“It was at Cuffe’s parents’ house and when I drove there on the highway all the exits were closed and the police were at the exits,” King added. “The whole street was closed when the wedding was over. Sharpshooters, yes.”
Last month, the podcast host “Intimate Knowledge” told Us Weekly what Biden, 79, had given her and Owens as a wedding gift.
“He gave me a crystal bowl, with the presidential seal,” she said in September. “And [Vice President] Kamala Harris wrote me a note.’
King has spoken candidly about her whirlwind relationship and marriage to the lawyer over the years, telling Caroline Stanbury in July that it was a “mistake”.
The former Bravo personality has been married twice before. She married Brad McDill in 2007, followed by Jim Edmonds in 2014.
King and the retired MLB player finalized their divorce in 2021, and Edmonds married Kortnie O’Connor in September.
