Love Island USA winners Zeta Morrison and Timmy Pandolfi may head to the courthouse after they leave the villa.
The couple – who discussed the prospect of marriage during their time on the Peacock reality series – only tell Vidak For Congress why an elopement is likely.
“I think that’s something that happens after you’ve been battle tested and it’s not something we shy away from,” said Pandolfi.
“We’ve had our discussions about how most people operate” [getting married]. It’s super structured and planned, marking calendar dates.”
The handsome personal trainer and real estate professional adds, “I think if it came to that, it would be like, ‘Hey, today is the day. Let’s do it.'”
Morrison — who repeatedly stated that she came to the show to “find a husband, not a boyfriend” — agrees. “Yeah, so are we,” she says. “Like the atmosphere of the courthouse.”
The gorgeous model-actress admits it wouldn’t feel like a loss to forego a traditional ceremony, as she’s “never been the girl” who dreamed about her wedding day.
‘I’ve never been her. I think it would be nice to organize an entire wedding – and it can still happen in the future, especially for family and friends,” she explains.
“But I’m the Type” [who loves] a love so pure that when it happens, it’s all about the two of you. And I think we feel the same.”
Before they tie the knot, the duo — affectionately dubbed “Zimmy” by fans — are looking forward to dating in the real world.
Morrison, who is from the UK, and Pandolfi, a former New York City resident, both moved to Los Angeles before meeting on “Love Island USA” – a coincidence that they feel feels like a “wink” from God.
Morrison definitely believes that their love story was written with the help of a higher power.
“[God] is certainly responsible. My mom, before I got on the show, she’d seen girls before stepping in front of guys and getting rejected. And she didn’t. So before going to the show, she said, ‘Don’t step forward for anyone! … You get a couple with someone. You get to know them and that’s fine,” explains the British beauty.
“And then of course Timmy comes out and he’s the second boy. We made eye contact and I just felt something,” she says, talking about her first sight of Pandolfi. “His energy was just so strong.”
Then the man above got in, Morrison says.
“I felt this tack on both sides of my shoulders. I was just fighting it, like, ‘No, no, no, no. This goes against everything you said you would do on the first day,” she continues.
“And I just couldn’t not do it. I felt my body being pushed and I thought, ‘Go with your gut, step forward for him, he’s going to choose you and everything will be fine.’ And that is exactly what happened.”
Pandolfi notes that Morrison’s “energy” was equally irresistible. “That’s what all these love songs are about. All these inexplicable things, the feeling of going with your gut,’ he gushes. “I felt the warmth come from her.”
The lovebirds—beloved by their castmates and “Love Island USA” viewers alike—surpassed the competition, eventually taking home the title of “America’s Favorite Couple” and the accompanying $100,000 prize in Sunday night’s finale.
“We never expected this,” Morrison admits. “But we are so grateful and we can’t wait to connect with all the fans.”
Morrison and Pandolfi won, with Sydney Paight and Isaiah Campbell in second and Deb Chubb and Jesse Bray in third.
The couples — and many departed islanders — will discuss their respective “Love Island USA” travels when the season 4 reunion kicks off Thursday, September 1, at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.
