Kandi Burruss Reminds Bravo Fans Bullying Daughter Riley

Kandi Burruss is the latest “housewife” to talk about Bravo fans bullying her kids.

The mother of three, 46, revealed to People on Tuesday that her eldest daughter, Riley Burruss, 20, has been ashamed of the body over the years.

“I despise it. It bothers me so much,” the former singer said of the bullying. “Everyone already knows that Riley dealt with her weight issues growing up in the public eye. People were making comments about her body and saying things about her personal appearance and it really boils my blood.”

Kandi added that as a reality TV star, she “can handle anything” but would never want her kids to be “bullied online.”

The actress – who is also mother to son Ace, 6, and daughter Blaze, 2 – continued: “The people who watch our show and who are on our show sometimes go too far, and it’s not cool. It’s crazy. This is a TV show at the end of the day.”

When Kandi joined “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” during Season 2, Riley was only 7 years old and had to grow in front of the cameras.

The student – who is now 20 years old – has stepped back from the show, but that doesn’t deter the trolls.

“Words certainly matter. I’ve seen one of my kids get bullied several times for sure,” Kandi said, adding that someone posted that last week. [Riley] was pregnant and she was so upset about it.

“She was like, ‘Where are they getting this information from? This is where I felt good about myself and lost and got my body where I wanted it, and now they’re posting that I’m pregnant?’ Thats crazy!”
