Friendly exes?
Kanye West and ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk laughed at the Burberry show during London Fashion Week, nearly a year after they called it quits.
According to a video shared by Vogue Monday, Yeezy’s founder, 45, greeted several models backstage as he hugged Shayk, 36.
“I have got you!” she told the rapper with a laugh before moving on to Bella Hadid, Stella Maxwell, Erykah Badu and creative director Riccardo Tisci.
Shayk, who was all set to walk in the show, donned a black velvet off-the-shoulder black dress with mesh gloves.
The ‘Donda’ rapper – who has since moved on to Candice Swanepoel – matched up with an all-black ensemble consisting of a leather jacket, matching leather pants, a hoodie and crystal-embellished flip flops.
West later showed love to Shayk when he posted an Instagram video of the model walking down the runway.
The short run was one of the first times the former couple had been spotted together since they went their separate ways in July 2021.
Romance rumors began to swirl in June of that year when the pair were spotted in Provence, France, on the occasion of West’s 44th birthday.
However, two months later things quickly spiraled out of control when the model – who shares a 5-year-old daughter with Bradley Cooper – decided the two would be better off as friends.
“She likes him as a friend, but doesn’t want a relationship with him,” a source told Vidak For Congress at the time, adding that “she doesn’t want the association they’re dating with” making headlines.
While Shayk prefers to keep her relationships out of the public eye, West has used social media to talk about his relationship with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, after their divorce.
Earlier this month, the “Heartless” rapper took to social media to call his former family and take a closer look at the reality star for her upbringing.
The fashion designer – who founded the Donda Academy – claimed he had no say in raising his four children in text messages between him and Kardashian, which he shared on Instagram.
West later revealed that he and the founder of “Skims” are on better terms and has since apologized for adding unnecessary “stress” on the reality star.
“This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for all the stress I’ve caused, even in my frustration, because God is calling me to be stronger,” he said as he reflected on his social media tirades on Good Morning. America.
The former couple share children North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
