Hailey Bieber insists there’s a “truth” behind how she and now-husband Justin Bieber came to be — and Selena Gomez isn’t involved.
Appearing on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast this week, the model addresses claims she “stole” the crooner “Peaches” from the “Only Murders in the Building” star.
“Have you ever been romantically involved with Justin when… [Gomez]?” host Alex Cooper asks her in a preview clip.
“This is so crazy that I have literally never talked about this,” Hailey responds. “A lot of the perpetuation and hatred comes from ‘Oh, you stole it.’
“It’s about people knowing the truth. Because there is a truth.”
While Hailey, 25, has never publicly discussed the drama surrounding her dating Justin, 28, in detail, she has provided insight into how the “hate” has affected her over the years.
“Enough time has passed,” Hailey said in April, as if referring to how long it’s been since Gomez and Bieber broke up. (They broke up permanently in 2018, just a few months before Justin Hailey proposed).
‘I mind my business. I do nothing, I say nothing. Please leave me alone,” she continued, noting that it was “valid” to leave her alone because so much time had passed.
“I beg you. Really. That’s my only request. Be miserable elsewhere, please.”
A year earlier, Hailey arrived at the Met Gala where “Jelena” fans taunted her with “Selena” chants.
