Gisele Bündchen once gave an insight into the rare but heated arguments of her and her husband Tom Brady.
“Tom and I don’t argue much, but sometimes when I feel anger rising in me – growing, growing – I become aware of what’s going on,” the Brazilian supermodel, 42, wrote in her 2018 book, “Lessons: My Way to a Meaningful Life.”
“Instead of reacting in a way I’ll regret later, I remember to breathe.”
In those moments, the model wrote that she would say to Brady, 45, “It’s better if we talk later,” and then she would leave the room.
“Meditation has been key to helping me with my own reactivity,” added the mother of two. “I think about my anger as a visitor, and I can see it’s potentially destructive, so I make the conscientious choice not to engage in it.”
She concluded, “The next time Tom and I are together, we can revisit everything we’re talking about in a loving, respectful way like we always do.”
However, it seems that the “lesson” Bündchen learned about managing her anger and running away from fights didn’t stop her and the NFL from having marital problems.
Multiple sources exclusively told Vidak For Congress on Thursday that an “epic fight” is the fault of the married couple who are currently living in separate homes.
“There were problems in the marriage because of his decision not to retire,” an insider told us. “Gisele has always been the one with the kids. They had agreed that he would retire to focus on the family, but then he changed his mind.”
Another source added: “They have a fiery relationship. Gisele is a bit hot-headed – she has that Brazilian heat!”
As Bündchen shared in her book, her strategy is to give herself some space to cool down when she’s upset, and we’ve learned that she recently left her and Brady’s family complex in Tampa, Fla., for Costa Rica after a “series of heated discussions.”
However, an insider noted that the couple has gone through fiery fissures in the past, which they have always been able to work through.
Bündchen and Brady have been married since 2009 and share children Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, plus Jack, the athlete’s 15-year-old son with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Representatives for the model and the NFL quarterback have declined to comment on their relationship.
