Billy Ray Cyrus, 61, and his girlfriend, Firerose, sparked engagement rumors earlier this month when the singer flashed a sparkly ring That finger.
In the photos, the young singer was sitting on the end of a stone bench with her left hand carefully placed in her lap and flaunting a huge diamond.
“Taking the moment in…” she wrote on Instagram as she gave Cyrus photos.
The country singer also posted photos of his Australian-born lead actress with a parrot on social media, giving fans another glimpse of her new bling.
Fans and close friends of the country singer were quick to congratulate the couple in the comments section, assuming they were engaged.
A Cyrus representative did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.
While it’s unclear how long the couple has been dating, they collaborated on a song called “New Day” last year.
The potential engagement came as a surprise to many fans, given that Cyrus’ wife, Tish Cyrus, filed for divorce from the country star just five months ago.
After 29 years of marriage and five children, the 54-year-old cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She also claimed that they had not been living together since February 2020.
However, this was the third time the couple filed for divorce, with their most recent divorce being five years earlier.
“After thirty years, five wonderful children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways – not with sadness, but with love in our hearts. We grew up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and now it’s time to walk our own paths,” the couple said in a statement to People.
“We will always remain family and look forward to an ongoing and loving shared experience as friends and parents. We didn’t come to this decision lightly or quickly, but with so much going on in the world, we wanted to provide clarity and closure so we can stay focused on what’s important.”
The couple share daughters Brandi, 35, Miley, 29, and Noah, 22, and sons Trace, 33, and Braison, 28.
Billy Ray first filed for divorce in 2010 after Tish dated rocker Brett Michaels. However, after a few months, the country singer withdrew the petition.
In a turn of events, Tish filed for divorce three years later, but the couple quickly made amends 10 days later, citing couples therapy as the reason for their reconciliation.
The divorce was officially annulled four years later due to inactivity in the courts.
