Adele denies Rich Paul engagement rumors

Take them easy.

Adele denied that she and Rich Paul are on their way to a holy marriage, but that didn’t stop her from singing his praises.

“I’m not engaged. I just like high-end jewelry, kid!” the “Easy on Me” singer clarified in her September 2022 Elle cover story after sparking engagement rumors in February by wearing a huge diamond ring at the Brit Awards.

Earlier in the interview, Adele, 34, dodged questions about whether she and Paul, 40, were on their way to tie the knot.

“I’m not married. I’m not married!” she cheekily offered after being asked about a proposal before continuing to sing, “I’m just in love! I am happy as I will ever be. I might as well be married.”

However, the Grammy winner confirmed that she “definitely” wants to remarry and plans to one day expand her family with the sports agent.

“I’ve never been so in love. I’m obsessed with him,” she said of Paul, adding, “I definitely want more kids. I’m a housewife and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music.”

But for now, Adele said she’s mostly focused on her Las Vegas residency, which she moved in July after postponing it in January.

“All I have in my head is Vegas,” she told the magazine.

The “Rolling in the Deep” singer previously sidestepped questions about whether she and Paul were engaged, saying on “The Graham Norton Show” in February: “If I [engaged]would I ever tell anyone whether it was me or not?”

While things seem to be going well now, Adele’s relationship with Paul seemed to be going through a rough patch earlier this year.

Sources told Vidak For Congress in January that the English singer “sobbed and screamed” at her beauty over the phone as she prepared for her Vegas residency, and Paul spent Adele’s birthday in May partying in Miami with his client LeBron James.

Luckily for the couple, it seems like they’re on the rise again and again. Although Adele denied they were engaged, they moved into a $58 million mansion in Beverly Hills this year.

The “Hello” singer confirmed her relationship with Paul in July 2021 after finalizing her divorce from Simon Konecki, with whom she shares 9-year-old son Angelo.
