Yung Gravy is urging social media users to stop harassing Addison Rae’s mother, Sheri Easterling, after clips of the couple went viral at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
“she’s just single and living her life. leave her alone lol,” the musician, 26, wrote on Twitter in response to a video of him kissing the mother of three, 42, on the red carpet.
The unlikely pair made a surprise appearance at the awards ceremony in Newark, NJ, on Sunday, where eagle-eyed fans even saw they kiss in public.
“Is yung jus on stage with addison rae’s mom?????” a Twitter user commented on a clip, in which the duo left their lips locked as Nicki Minaj took the Best Hip-Hop award for her hit “Do We Have A Problem?”
“No f–king way yung jus just brought Addison Raes mama [to] the vmas,” wrote another stunned fan.
On the red carpet, the “Betty” rapper told Vidak For Congress exclusively that he and Easterling had met on “the Internet” and “FaceTimed” before meeting in person.
‘I hit her first. I knew her and I thought she was fine,’ he recalled.
“She’s like a southern beauty, and I’m a northern boy, so it felt really cute and healthy. … [I’m] into MILFs, and she’s kind of the queen of MILFs.”
Not long after, Easterling’s estranged husband Monty Lopez – who reportedly had a five-month affair with a 25-year-old influencer – posted a dark response to the couple’s red carpet appearance via his Instagram story.
“Thank you @younggravy for bringing the leftovers,” Lopez, 46, captioned a shirtless selfie.
“I would rather spend time with my daughter and 2 grandchildren that Sheri Nicole abandoned me as a child to be with her,” the controversial influencer continued.
“Never let a woman make you choose between her and your blood child!”
In addition to Rae, 21, Easterling and Lopez are parents to sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8.
