The biggest surprise at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2022? Packing Yung Gravy on the PDA with Addison Rae’s mom, Sheri Easterling, on National TV.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted the unlikely couple kissing in public while Nicki Minaj took the Best Hip-Hop award for her hit song “Do We Have A Problem?”
“Is yung jus on stage with addison rae’s mom?????” a Twitter user commented on a now viral clip, in which the pair kissed in the corner of the screen.
“No f–king way yung jus just brought Addison Raes mama [to] the vmas,” wrote a second person.
Easterling, 42, and Gravy, 26, made their surprise red carpet debut as a couple at the awards ceremony, held Sunday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
On the red carpet, Gravy exclusively told Vidak For Congress that they met on “the Internet” and “FaceTimed” a few times before meeting in person.
‘I hit her first. I knew her and I thought she was fine,’ he recalled.
“She’s like a southern beauty, and I’m a northern boy, so it felt really cute and healthy. … [I’m] in MILFs, and she’s kind of the queen of the MILFs.”
Easterling’s estranged husband Monty Lopez, who reportedly had a five-month affair with a 25-year-old influencer, was quick to react to the couple’s red carpet appearance.
“Thank you @younggravy for bringing the leftovers,” Lopez, 46, wrote darkly in a shirtless selfie via his Instagram Story Sunday.
“I would rather spend time with my daughter and 2 grandchildren that Sheri Nicole left me as a child to be with her,” he continued.
“Never let a woman make you choose between her and your blood child!”
In addition to Addison Rae, 21, Easterling and Lopez share sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8.
