Wendy Williams raises concern with new video promoting podcast

Wendy Williams fans had mixed reactions to her new video promoting her upcoming podcast.

The former daytime talk show host shared a new video on her Instagram account, dedicated to her next project, “The Wendy Experience,” in which she said, “Co-hosts, I’m famous and I’ll be back, believe me.”

The footage showed Williams sitting on what appeared to be a bed before cropping out to an image with the podcast’s title.

Fans immediately flooded the response to express concern about the shock jock, 58.

“I love your aunt, but trust me, we’d rather see you all healed than [sic] brings us the messy gossip. I personally care about you more than that❤️,” commented one follower.

“Get well soon 1st!!! That’s the main thing ❤️,” wrote another.

‘She seems different. Hope she’s okay. ,” commented another.

One fan hinted at how her health has affected her appearance, writing, “I’m not even going to lie, I was live and closed when I saw your face and it scared me.”

As Vidak For Congress previously reported, the “How You Doin’?” the host’s family has been concerned about her for the past year since she left her show for the final season to take care of her health. Fears for her mental and physical health worsened when she falsely claimed she had recently married an NYPD officer.

“It’s really not going well. It’s not the same Wendy… She’s gone downhill like crazy and her Florida family is very concerned about her,” a source told Vidak For Congress.

Williams’ rep, William Selby, previously told us the podcast will hopefully debut in mid-August, but admitted Williams isn’t quite ready to go back to work yet.

“She tells me she wants to do the podcast every day. She’s ready [do] this thing today and I’m fighting her off,” Selby said while admitting Williams isn’t “100 percent” yet.

‘Could she be better? Yes. More work needs to be done to get her into space, where she can be better represented. I just want her legacy to be respected and to remain intact.”
