Victoria Beckham looked back on her past as a “Posh” pop star this weekend, when the British beauty was captured by husband David Beckham singing the 1997 Spice Girls hit “Stop”.
“Karaoke night with the one and only Posh Spice 🖤@victoriabeckham @spicegirls 🖤,” captioned hubby Beckham, 47, in a clip of his wife, 48, singing the tune in a black outfit, including a long skirt and cropped top and sweater. She also did some of the choreography from the original music video.
While she performed, others can be seen dancing in the background.
“Just for you David!! X,” Victoria said on the post, resulting in her fellow Spice Girl, Mel C, commenting: “Nice to see you ahead of rehearsals! .”
Victoria was unable to join the group on their 2019 “Spice World” tour due to past business commitments, but reunited with the group during Pride month last summer.
Thanks to the karaoke session, fans again ask the fashion designer to go out with her group mates.
“we want you back ️ we LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! 🤩🤩🤩,” wrote one fan, while another added: “Spice Girls 2023 reunion world tour please 🙏 @victoriabeckham.”
While fans would love to see Posh Spice back on stage in some glamorous looks, daughter Harper Beckham wasn’t a fan of her mom’s costume choices.
“She said to me recently, ‘Mom, I saw some pictures of you when you were in the Spice Girls and your skirts were just unacceptable. They were just too short,'” the mother and fashionista said.
“Then David called up and said, ‘Absolutely, Harper! They really, really were.’ And she was actually quite disgusted by how short my skirts were.”
