Frank Stallone supports his older brother Sylvester Stallone after it emerged that he and his wife of 25 years are divorcing.
Former model Jennifer Flavin, 54, filed paperwork to annul her two-and-a-half-decade-long marriage to the “Rocky” star, 76, in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Aug. 19.
And during what can only be assumed to be a difficult time for Stallone, his younger brother shows him his support.
On Instagram on Wednesday, the 72-year-old shared a look back at the couple during their childhood.
“Brothers to the end! Enough said,” Frank captioned the snap, adding the hashtags: “#brotherhood #loyalty #trust #family #god #country.”
He later shared another post on Instagram, which consisted of a short video followed by a photo of him with Sylvester.
“There’s a lot going on, but remember one thing: Prima La Familia,” Frank said in the video, which translated to “Family First.”
Court documents obtained by Vidak For Congress state that the marriage has “broken irretrievably” and note that Flavin requests that the assets accrued during the union be “equitably divided” between them.
Flavin also alleges that Stallone “involved in the deliberate wasting, exhausting and/or wasting of marital assets”, which negatively impacted the “marital estate”.
She asks to be “compensated and made whole” by receiving more money than Stallone from the estate.
Flavin, who wants to restore her maiden name, also wants to have exclusive use of their matrimonial home in Palm Beach, Florida, while Stallone lives on their property in California.
Addressing the news on Wednesday, Stallone told Vidak For Congress: “I love my family. We are addressing these personal issues amicably and privately.”
Stallone married Flavin in May 1997, nearly 10 years after they met at a restaurant.
The Golden Globe winner was previously married to Sasha Czack from 1974 to 1985 and Brigitte Nielsen from 1985 to 1987. He and Czack shared sons Sage, who died in July 2012, and Seargeoh, 43.
