Like Mother like daughter.
Stassi Schroeder debuted a new dark “do” on Instagram on Tuesday, inspired by the hair color of 1-year-old daughter Hartford.
“Honestly, I just wanted to fit in with my baby,” said the
“Vanderpump Rules” alum, 34, captioned a sweet snap with her little one.
Many of Schroeder’s followers referred to the mother-daughter pair as “twins,” while others admitted to dyeing their hair to resemble their children as well.
“I’ve definitely dyed my hair to match my daughters’s…mainly because neither of them look anything like me,” commented one fan, while another added: “So many moms do this, I did it too.” It’s a special time in your life, now my daughter is turning 20 and we’re still doing it.”
Schroeder’s new ‘do’ is also a return to her roots. “It gives season 1 stasi … and I’m not mad about it,” she captioned another photo.
Schroeder’s husband Beau Clark called her a “#MILF” in the comments.
“Damn it,” the commercial casting director, 42, gushed. “I keep going back and forth and you get more beautiful with age! .”
Hairstylist Bradley Leake, who did Schroeder’s new color, wrote, “Soo gorrrg😍 love you and thank you for your trust.”
The former Bravolebrity, who was previously a much lighter shade of blonde, explained in her Stories that she “couldn’t take the carrots another day,” so “she got rid of them.”
Schroeder rocked her natural hair when she put on ‘Pump Rules’ in 2013, later going platinum and continuing to experiment with different shades.
The former blogger was fired from the show in June 2020 for racially insensitive comments, along with Kristen Doute, Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens.
In January of the following year, Schroeder gave birth to her daughter, who she believes had saved her life amid the scandal.
“If I wasn’t pregnant I think I probably would have just gone into alcoholism, Xanax, all this unhealthy stuff,” she explained in a podcast episode of “The Good the Bad the Baby” in March 2021.
She also praised Clark for getting married in front of a few relatives and friends during her pregnancy. In May, they tied the knot again with a big ceremony in Italy.
