Zayn Malik thinks pink.
The former One Directioner posted a rare photo to Instagram on Wednesday, showing off his new bubble-gum-tinted hair.
In the smoky selfie, Malik wears a white mesh tank top and a silver Adidas x Gucci necklace ($990) as he stares at the camera.
His fans went wild for the new pink ‘do’, with one saying “the most beautiful boy on earth” and another saying “I don’t know how to breathe anymore.”
Perhaps his breakup with Gigi Hadid, with whom he shares 1-year-old daughter Khai, inspired Malik, 29, to change his appearance; the model itself has undergone some transformations since the split; she sported temporary bangs and later dyed her auburn hair platinum blonde in November 2021.
But the “Pillowtalk” singer also likes to play with his looks. Lately he’s sported a buzzcut, shaved sides, a long beard and curly locks. Last year Malik even experimented with a turquoise-blue paint job.
It seems Zayn is also channeling his inner artist these days, having just released a line of Keith Haring-esque merch called Paynt by Zayn.
Malik has been involved in tons of drama lately, including his messy breakup with Hadid and alleged altercation with her mother, Yolanda. His former bandmate Liam Payne also recently said there are “many reasons” he doesn’t like Malik, although Payne later called him his “brother”.
