Deacon Phillippe, the 18-year-old son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, makes his acting debut in Season 3 of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever.
The streamer has further explained that the Hollywood offspring will guest-star as a character named Parker in several episodes throughout the season.
The announcement of Deacon’s first official acting role comes weeks after his high school graduation, for which his famous parents have been reunited. He now pursues both acting and music careers.
Witherspoon, 46, and Phillippe, 47, remain friendly and co-parent their two children, Deacon and daughter Ava, 22, despite their divorce in 2006.
The “Cruel Intentions” co-stars have gathered for their children on many occasions, including after celebrating Deacon’s 18th birthday together, with Phillippe sharing a family photo on social media to commemorate the day.
“Happy 18th birthday to our beautiful, smart, talented and caring son. You are a real light in this world and you are so loved by everyone you know,” the actor wrote “I Know What You Did Last Summer” last October.

Both Witherspoon and Phillippe have welcomed other children since their split, as the “Legally Blonde” actress has a 9-year-old daughter, Tennessee, with husband James Toth, while the “Shooter” alum shares an 11-year-old daughter, Kai. , with ex Alexis Knapp.
“Never Have I Ever”, which tells the story of an Indian-American teenage girl navigating complicated love triangles and friendships, was created by Mindy Kaling and starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.
