Real Housewives of Dubai star Caroline Brooks thinks Chanel Ayan has “the brain capacity of a 5-year-old.”
Brooks shared her brutally honest take on Ayan when Vidak For Congress spoke to salon owner and her co-star Caroline Stanbury on Wednesday about their relationships with the cast of the new Bravo reality show.
“I think Chanel is Chanel, and, you know, I think she doesn’t think before she says something special,” said Stanbury, who argued with the model for most of season 1.
Brooks was a little harsher, however, acknowledging that Stanbury’s answer was a “polite way of saying it.”
She said: ‘Chanel has the brain capacity of a 5 year old, that’s what she meant to say, but she was just being polite because she’s British. I am not. I am American. I am rude.”
As for why they argued with Ayan, the former ‘Ladies of London’ star theorized that Ayan’s best friend Lesa Milan didn’t like the two Carolines getting close.
“I think Lesa is much more calculated,” Stanbury said.
“We had a bond from the first day we met, and we’d been friends before, and I don’t think Lesa wanted that at all, so every time we were gone, there was a behind-the-scenes yelling to to tell her and me that the other said something.”
Milan and Brooks apparently had a good relationship at the start of the season.
Brooks told us she didn’t understand why they were trying to cause a rift in their friendship, but watching the show has given them some clarity.
Fortunately for Stanbury and Brooks, Ayan and Milan’s involvement made their friendship “stronger” and “did the opposite” of what they allegedly intended.
“It really made us love each other more and say, ‘Hey, we’re lucky. At least we’re real, and we have each other,’ you know?” said the broker.
Stanbury agreed, adding that “this kind of constant barrage is just Milan lashing out at absolutely nothing.”
“I mean, you know, it’s actually pretty awesome. I mean, obviously we’re keeping her busy all the time,” Stanbury said with a laugh.
