‘RHODubai’ star Caroline Brooks responds to Lisa Rinna’s apology

Caroline Brooks, the star of Real Housewives of Dubai, is unimpressed by Lisa Rinna’s apology, in which she blames grief for her “raging” Instagram.

“I was surprised that was the route she took while apologizing instead of being more direct, like ‘I messed up,'” the reality star told E! News.

“But it can grieve. I’m not going to say she’s not grieving, I have no idea. But I read the apology, it wasn’t very direct. She could have pointed it at the people she had offended.”

Brooks, 37, went on to argue that Rinna, 58, made a “very general statement” showing only “a little bit” of growth.

“I hope she’s sincere and I hope she really means it because she shouldn’t just insult people she doesn’t know,” she continued. “It’s not very nice, it’s mean. And we didn’t handle it well at all.”

As Vidak For Congress previously reported, the feud between Rinna and several “RHODubai” cast members started after the reality star posted a controversial statement on her Instagram story. At the time, she claimed that when she or her white co-stars have a conflict with Garcelle Beauvais — the only black, full-time housewife on “RHOBH” — they are automatically considered racist.

“When we fight with Garcelle, we are suddenly called racist,” Rinna wrote. ‘Those are bulls – t. I won’t accept that. I will express myself when and how I want and I am not afraid of any of you whores.”

Rinna then dragged the new franchise into shambles by adding, “And if you’re just as triggered by our show and many of you are going to watch Dubai.”

Rinna claimed she wrote things she didn't mean because of the grief she feels since losing her mother.

Then several “RHODubai” stars, including Brooks, jumped in with their own shady remarks to silence Rinna. Many have argued that raising Rinna for the franchise was a micro-aggression in and of itself – due to the diverse cast.

“Rinna Africa called and they want their lips back! Keep Dubai out of your mess and your mouth,” Chanel Ayan tweeted.

However, this is certainly not the first time a Bravo star has been called out for racist behavior. Rinna’s fellow castmate Diana Jenkins recently came under fire after she seemingly criticized someone for being a “black content creator.”

Meanwhile, NeNe Leakes, alum of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is suing Bravo and executive producer Andy Cohen for a supposedly racist work environment.
