The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might get some rest – at least a few hours a day.
Prince William and Kate Middleton were all smiles as they dropped off Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte for their first day of school on Wednesday.
The family of five strolled hand in hand into the Lambrook School for an “afternoon society” to welcome new students and their families before the school year begins.
Upon their arrival at the prestigious Berkshire school, the family was greeted by the school’s principal, Jonathan Perry.
Middleton, 40, wore a brown polka-dot dress and a pair of brown heels, while William, also 40, looked smart in navy trousers and a matching blazer.
Their two sons matched in their new school uniform, consisting of navy blue shorts and a light blue collared shirt. Meanwhile, Charlotte, 7, looked perfect in a blue and white checkered dress and French braids.
The trio looked confident as they marched up the big steps to meet their future teachers and peers.
Last month, the family announced that all three children would be leaving school in London after the family moved to Windsor.
“Their Royal Highnesses are extremely grateful to Thomas’s Battersea, where George and Charlotte have had a happy start to their education since 2017 and 2019 respectively, and are delighted to have found a school for all three of their children who share the same ethos and values. their statement read.
Perry added in a statement of his own upon hearing the exciting news: “We are delighted that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will be joining us next September and are very much looking forward to welcoming the family as well as all our new pupils , to our school community.”
In June, news broke that William, Middleton and their children would be leaving London to “take on a much higher role in the royal family”.
A source told Vidak For Congress the move would also allow the Cambridges to be closer to family, including Queen Elizabeth II.
Catherine’s parents, Mike and Carole, live just a few miles away in the village of Bucklebury, while Catherine’s sister, Pippa, and her husband, James, are also looking for a new country home. The Middletons are all so close and William loves them.”
So don’t be surprised if you see some of the little one’s royal relatives waiting in the pick-up loop after school.
