Prince Harry and Charlotte share a sweet moment at Queen’s funeral

Prince Harry and his niece, Princess Charlotte, were spotted Monday sharing a sweet moment at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral service.

The duo sat side by side as the 7-year-old reached out to adjust her black hat.

Charlotte then glanced at the Duke of Sussex, 38, who looked at her. They smiled at each other before looking forward.

While some social media users commented on the wide space between Harry and Charlotte as she cuddled closer to her mother, Kate Middleton, others were touched by their interaction.

“I thought I had just had a little chat between Harry and Charlotte,” one person wrote. “I hope someone catches it on camera.”

Another Twitter user called the moment “beautiful”, to add“He made her smile when she was feeling sad and she made him smile when he was clearly upset.”

Harry’s eldest cousin, Prince George, also attended the funeral at Westminster Abbey, although Prince Louis (4) stayed at home, presumably because of his young age.

The 9-year-old was photographed being comforted by his great-aunt Sophie of Wessex, while the 57-year-old Countess placed a reassuring hand on his fit shoulder.

Charlotte, who wore a black dress with a horseshoe brooch belonging to her late great-grandmother, also got emotional outside of the service.

Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, also wept as she mourned Her Majesty, who died on September 8 at the age of 96.

The 41-year-old ‘Suits’ alum and Harry were in the middle of a string of charity events in the UK and Germany when news broke of the late sovereign’s deteriorating health.

The duo, who now reside in Montecito, California, remained in Europe after her death.

The Times of London reported last weekend that the former military pilot wants the public to focus less on his estranged relationship with his brother, Prince William, and more on Elizabeth.

“People should just stop talking about all these things and focus on my grandmother,” Harry is said to have told a friend.

The newspaper went on to quote a source who claimed the Prince of Wales is on the same page as trying to “stay focused solely on doing the right thing to honor the Queen”.

The insider noted: “[William is] processing his grief and the death of his grandmother, instead of processing his relationship with Harry.”

The brothers have been making headlines for years for their tense relationship, with tensions escalating in 2020 when Harry and Markle left the royal family.
