Heather Rae Young shared the “first glimpse” of her son after an ultrasound appointment.
“This was the very first time I’ve seen him since I found out his gender, so it was so special 🥰,” the 34-year-old Selling Sunset star told her Instagram followers on Tuesday. “I like ultrasounds because I can see him and hear his heartbeat.
“As a new mom-to-be, these things give me flutter in the best way,” she continued. “But it’s also nerve-wracking because you want to make sure your baby is healthy and in the best condition possible.”
Young added that the “ultrasound went great,” gushing, “getting a little spike [sic] with our boy made my week 💙🙏🏻.”
The Netflix personality co-stars kindly commented on their support.
“Love him so much already,” wrote Emma Hernan, with Davina Potratz adding, “Omg so awesome!!”
Amanza Smith, for her part, commented: “Omgoodness!!!! So exciting baby. Ahhh can’t wait to kiss his sweet little face. ️❤️❤️❤️.”
Young announced last month that she and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, are expecting their first child together. The little one will join 40-year-old “Flip or Flop” alum’s two children with ex-wife Christina Haack: Taylor, 11, and Brayden, 6.
In July, the couple revealed the gender of their impending arrival with blue confetti cannons.
“Can’t believe we’re expecting another baby BOY El Moussa in the family!!!” El Moussa wrote via Instagram at the time. “The moment I saw the blue confetti, I couldn’t believe it.”
The “Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa” star added that while he falsely predicted Young was pregnant with a daughter, she knew the sex “deep down.”
The couple married in October 2021, a year after their engagement.
