On Friday, Jhené Aiko shared a maternity photo on Instagram with the singer posing in the buff, rocking her baby bump as semi-opaque ethereal shapes evoking galactic formations swirl around her.
By simply putting the orbiting stars “💫” emoji as a caption, Aiko also tagged the photographer as up-and-coming talent Renee Rodriguez, who simultaneously posted the astral portrait on her professional “gram.”
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Aiko, 34, was expecting a child with longtime beau Big Sean, 34, who said “Thank you ✨🥰” on the celestial image.
“Can not wait! 💙💫,” he continued in a second comment moments later.
Aiko and Big Sean reconciled after splitting up around March 2019. Before that, they had been together since about 2016, while indulging in PDA when Aiko finalized her divorce from Dot Da Genius.
A notorious harbinger of their 2019 split was Aiko’s decision to cover up a tattoo of the “Moves” rapper’s face with a tattoo of a stylized space landscape by tattoo artist Miryam Lumpini.
All things considered, however, the “Magic Hour” singer has long been interested in astrology, at least from an aesthetic perspective, often incorporating celestial images into the visual aspects of her brand – as seen in the photo series she previously appeared in. the week, as well as in her just-released music video for “Water Sign.”
She previously had a tattoo on her back showing the moon in different phases of its cycle before superimposing a dragon and phoenix over that illustration.
Aiko has a 13-year-old daughter, Namiko Love Browner, whose father is her ex-boyfriend O’Ryan. This will be Big Sean’s first child.
