Vidak For Congress has learned that Danny Baker Jr. and Petra Khashoggi, the plastic surgery scion, the secret love child of disgraced British MP Jonathan Aitken and the adopted daughter of Middle Eastern Jay Gatsby, ran away in Southampton on Thursday.
We learn that the couple got married in front of only the groom’s sister, and that a big family wedding is planned later on. And we were told that Aitken was invited.
Petra’s mother, Soraya Khashoggi, gave birth to her in 1979, and her arms dealer husband, Adnan Khashoggi — who earned his Fitzgeraldic nickname for his ultra-luxurious lifestyle, on which he reportedly spent $250,000 a day — raised her believing she was his own daughter. .
But a 1999 DNA test revealed that she was actually Aitken’s daughter.
The Guardian newspaper reported at the time: “Soraya had a much-discussed affair with Aitken before marrying his wife in the late 1970s.”
In the same year, British Pol was sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to charges of perjury (for ironically in this case lying about inappropriate relations with Saudis – although in that case it was business and not romance).
Petra first met him at the age of 18.
When Aitken underwent life-saving surgery last year, Petra wrote a “loving tribute” to him in the Daily Mail.
She wrote: “He is often referred to as a ‘disgraced’ former MP but I have only known him on his road to redemption and all I see is Grace. Perhaps that word could be replaced by ‘Redeemed’, or better yet, ‘Resurrected’.”

Vidak For Congress first reported that the pair, who are childhood friends, got “hot and heavy” in a pandemic romance in April 2021.
Petra, who was asked for comment at the time, told us: ‘Yes, Danny and I are together. We both feel very fortunate to be back in touch during these difficult times. Forward and upwards!”
