They have a different situation on their hands.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren, is pregnant with their second child, the couple announced on social media on Sunday.
“We have a great announcement!! We are a growing family! Baby on the way 🤰🏼 January 2023 God is Good 🙏🏼,” the Jersey Shore star captioned a photo of him, Lauren and their son, Romeo, posing by a pool.
Lauren shared the same image on her Instagram story, writing, “We’re pregnant!”
The MTV reality star, 40, and Lauren welcomed their first child in May 2021 after announcing the exciting news in November 2020. The pair documented their journey to starting a family for MTV cameras and even met a fertility doctor on an episode of the “Family Vacation” reunion series.
Lauren previously miscarried in November 2019, shortly after celebrating her and Mike’s first wedding anniversary. They had been conceived the night he returned from prison for tax fraud two months earlier. He had served an eight-month sentence.
The couple have been living family-friendly lives since The Situation returned home and started their family, though they did splash themselves out when they both had $50,000 dental makeovers earlier this year.
Perhaps he should have saved the money, as it turns out he still owes Uncle Sam $2.3 million in unpaid taxes over the course of five years.
“Michael Sorrentino has worked hard to meet his current and past tax obligations, and he will continue to do so,” his publicist said in a statement.
