Ozzy Osbourne vowed never to take acid again after talking to a horse

He was just romping.

Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne revealed that he once promised himself never to take acid again after spending an hour talking to a horse in the middle of a field.

The former Black Sabbath frontman, 73, said he was stunned when the horse apparently talked to him and the rocker told him to “fk off” at the end of their apparent exchange.

“At that time, people in America loved to smear your drinks with acid,” the “War Pigs” singer told the Daily Star. “I didn’t care.”

“I used to swallow a handful of tablets at a time. The end came when we got back to England. I took 10 tablets of acid and then went for a walk in a field.”

“I ended up standing there talking to this horse for about an hour,” recalls Osbourne, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2019.

“Finally the horse turned and told me to stop. That was it for me,” added the rocker, who has battled alcohol and drug abuse in the past.

Osbourne has been very open about his long history of substance abuse, with the self-proclaimed “Prince of Darkness” previously saying he was addicted to most drugs during his glittering music career.

The musician has been dealing with major health problems in recent months.

The “Crazy Train” hitmaker was released from a Los Angeles hospital in June after undergoing what his wife Sharon Osbourne described as “a major surgery” that “would define the rest of his life”.

Along with Parkinson’s and an attack with COVID-19, the musician has been dealing with the consequences of a quad bike accident in 2003.

The rocker’s “life-changing” surgery in June involved removing and realigning pins in his neck and back.
