Don’t worry Olivia!
Model and actress Olivia Wilde nearly had a leak when she walked the red carpet in a Valentino green dress at the 70th San Sebastian International Film Festival in Spain for the premiere of her movie “Don’t Worry Darling” at the Victoria Eugenia Theater on Friday.
Wilde, 38, took to the red carpet in her sleeveless fall 2022 couture dress as adoring fans and flashing cameras couldn’t take their eyes or lenses off the actress.
But the long train of her dress got tangled up in her towering Gianvito Rossi Metallic 100mm dazzling green leather pumps, nearly knocking her face to the ground.
Fortunately, she caught herself in a nasty fall and an assistant quickly came to her rescue to untangle the mess.
Wilde smiled as usual as she waited to be untangled.
Wilde, who directed the psychological thriller “Don’t Worry Darling,” also stars as Bunny, the best friend of housewife Alice Chambers, who is played by Florence Pugh.
The film tells the story of a utopian community through the eyes of Alice after her husband Jack, played by Harry Styles, moves them there to be with members of his new company.
As Alice learns about the new community she’s found herself in, she begins to worry that Jack and his company are hiding sinister secrets, leading her to question everything.
The film also stars Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll, Douglas Smith, KiKi Layne, Sydney Chandler and Dita Von Teese.
Earlier this month at the Venice Film Festival, Wilde tried her best to stay cool, calm, and collective after being confronted by a controversy emanating from the cast of “Don’t Worry Darling.”
Wilde, who has dated Styles, 28, was at the festival to promote the film and was joined by all of the thriller’s main cast members, with the exception of a pivotal actress, Pugh.
Pugh, 26, skipped the press conference in Italy, claiming her flight would land too late to join the rest of the cast at the presser.
During the screening of the film in Italy, Pugh appeared to keep his distance from Wilde on the red carpet.
Wilde has also been at the center of other controversies in recent months. Most notably, her ex-husband and Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis served her with custody papers as she stood onstage in the middle of a speech.
