Meghan Markle was a “narcissistic sociopath” who planned her royal exit from the start, her former staff argued in a new book.
Sources told author Valentine Low, who wrote “Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown,” that collaborators coined the epithet for the Duchess of Sussex, according to a report in The Sun that cites besides the explosive tome.
The book details the allegedly ugly behavior of Meghan and husband, Prince Harry, who retired from their royal duties in 2020.
“Everyone knew the institution would be judged by its luck. The mistake they made was thinking she wanted to be happy,” said a former employee. “She wanted to be rejected because she was obsessed with that story from day one.”
The staff also claimed they had been “played with” by the Sussexes.
The Post has reported that Meghan pitched Netflix about a project back in 2018 when she was still a working royal. Harry claimed they didn’t think of partnering with the streaming service until they left royal duties.
The book also claims that working for the couple was so grim that some assistants called themselves the “Sussex Survivors Club.”
