“Southern Charm” star Leva Bonaparte revealed that she and co-star Madison LeCroy have patched things up off-camera after a very explosive and challenging season 8.
After arguing on and off camera for a myriad of reasons, Bonaparte tells Vidak For Congress that “[LeCroy] came on my birthday [in May] and apologized to me.”
The 43-year-old continued: “So we’re going down a road, you know, when, like the others, not [apologize].”
LeCroy’s apology was enough that Bonaparte thought it fair that they would follow each other again on social media.
Bonaparte and LeCroy’s newfound friendship comes after the former unfollowed some of her co-stars after the season finale party filmed in December.
Aside from LeCroy, Austen Kroll, Kathryn Dennis, Venita Aspen and Craig Conover – as well as his Bravolebrity girlfriend Paige DeSorbo – were all unfollowed.
The Charleston restaurateur insinuated that during the party — which Conover’s company Sewing Down South supported — the two got into a heated argument over the way he spoke and raised his voice at her. In the midst of their explosive quarrel, those people chose his side over hers.
“It came down to them sort of stacking up with Craig,” she explained. “When Craig was kind of like in his screaming thing, they were like, ‘Oh, we hate her.'”
Bonaparte went on to explain that she was specifically “disappointed” with Kroll, 35, for not standing up for her when Conover, 33, attacked her.
‘Where is that for me while he’s yelling at me? I really think Craig is a force, and sometimes people can get a little scared to say something when he’s in place,” she said.
As for Aspen, Bonaparte “lost his respect” after “putting her up” during the intense argument.
“Kathryn and I probably just shouldn’t follow [each other]to be honest, at this point,” Bonaparte said simply, referring to their on-again, off-again friendship over the years.
The Season 8 finale of “Southern Charm” airs Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
