Shocking new couple Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio have taken their romance to a more intimate stage, Vidak For Congress is told, but sources close to the couple say they’re “taking it easy”.
Sources have been telling us for months that the model, 27, and the superstar actor, 47, became close while hanging out in the same group of friends.
But now we hear that they started out on dates as a twosome.
An insider tells us they “usually hang out with groups,” adding, “and solo a handful of times.”
“[DiCaprio] is not one to be in and out of relationships,” they explain, “he doesn’t jump around to hook up. They take it easy.”
The two were spotted together Saturday night at an exclusive party hosted by Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol, the boyfriend of the “Don’t Look Up” star, at a loft in Soho.
And according to our source, the couple also dated last week, but the two are “still getting to know each other”.
Hadid and DiCaprio have met a few times over the years, the insider says, but it had never been romantic until now.
They were first spotted in a group setting alongside Hadid’s sister Bella and Kendall Jenner at Art Basel in Miami in 2019.
But rumors of the couple getting romantic started after they were spotted together at the opening of the Ned – Akiva’s swanky new members-only club in Manhattan – in July.
Another source told Vidak For Congress that DiCaprio and Hadid were seen together again in August at the Manhattan club.
The “relatively new” relationship comes not long after it was revealed that the “Titanic” star had split from his girlfriend of four years, Camila Morrone, just months after the model turned 25.
Our source tells us that the relationship just “run its course”.
The ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ star appears to be broadening his age range by two whole years after building a reputation for ending things with his model girlfriends when they were in their mid-20s.
Hadid, meanwhile, shares 2-year-old daughter Khai with her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik.
With or without Hadid, the “Wolf of Wall Street” star is “partying every night,” according to a scenester source.
