Things get tense between Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid.
Rumor has it that the new couple got cozy at a New York Fashion Week afterparty in New York City over the weekend.
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the two looked deep into conversation with DiCaprio, 47, whispering in Hadid’s ear as she eagerly leaned forward.
At one point, the ‘Titanic’ star seemed to get a little crafty with the model, 27, as he placed his hands on her shoulders before reaching for her hand.
Coming straight off the runway, Hadid rocked a white cropped tank top and high-waisted baggy jeans, while the “Revenant” star kept a low profile with an all-black ensemble and a baseball cap.
The pair appeared to be secluded from the rest of the exclusive party thrown by DiCaprio’s friend Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol at a SoHo loft, according to Vidak For Congress sources.
“Leo was with his male friends and Gigi was with her model friends and they were all sitting around a table,” a source told us on Tuesday, adding that they had seen performances by Diplo and Kodak Black.
The news of the couple’s budding relationship came as a surprise to many, as DiCaprio is known for only dating women under 25.
In July, the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ star was rumored to be interested in Hadid after they hung out together at the opening of a members’ club in NYC.
Another source also told us they saw DiCaprio and Hadid hanging out at the same club a month later — around the time of his split from model Camila Morrone.
The former couple broke up after four years together, ironically right after Morrone’s 25th birthday.
While it’s unknown when or why the couple broke up, DiCaprio quickly became a meme on the Internet — and at the Emmys — for his obvious dating preferences.

“There is no phenomenon on this planet more reliable than the breakout of leonardo dicaprio with his girl at the age of 25, the statistics are breathtaking,” someone else wrote.
“Maybe leonardo dicaprio feels sorry for all the women who can’t rent a car until they’re 25 and who are actually a really good guy. did that ever occur to you?” another user suggested.
Not only is Hadid the oldest woman the actor has dated for a while, but she is also the only mother he has ever shown an interest in.
