While Ray J was chasing Kris Jenner over his infamous 2007 sex tape with Kim Kardashian — claiming she played a pivotal role in its release — the momager sat nicely in the front row at Fashion Week.
Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble attended the Tommy Hilfiger show on Sunday at the Skyline Drive-in theater in Brooklyn, where Kourtney Kardashian’s new husband Travis Barker closed the show on drums.
“Jenner looked like she was having a great time,” says one spy. “She didn’t seem upset at all and wasn’t bothered by anything that could happen on the internet. [She] and Dee were chatting.’
Kate Moss, Julia Fox and Shawn Mendes also attended the show, which took place outside in a downpour.
The guests were provided with umbrellas and ponchos.
One contestant tells us: “It was crazy to get there, each block took 45 minutes, you had to walk, celebs got rain. It was a nightmare. But it was the best show of the week!”
Jenner was also spotted front row at Dennis Basso’s elegant show at the Pierre hotel on Monday, alongside Hilfiger’s wife, designer Dee Ocleppo.
Jenner appeared on Thursday’s episode of “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” in which she took a lie detector test. The polygraph said she was telling the truth when she denied participating in the release of Kim’s tape through Vivid Entertainment.
But after Jenner denied the long-running rumor, Ray J posted a video on social media accusing her of lying, claiming she watched three different tapes from daughter Kim and then chose the best one.
The star revealed an alleged text to Kim stating, “Your mom checked this whole sex tape deal.” He also showed a number of alleged text messages in an attempt to prove that she was part of the release.
It is not the first time Ray J has claimed that Kim’s family was part of the release. In May, he claimed the sex tape leak was a “deal and partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me.”
Kim tried to sue Vivid to prevent the tape from coming out. The parties settled after it was released.
