Kris Jenner stopped the claims that she helped her daughter Kim Kardashian distribute her infamous 2007 sex tape with Ray J.
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, along with Kylie Jenner, appeared on Thursday’s episode of “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” where she had to take a lie detector test.
When Corden asked if she “helped Kim release her sex tape,” she shook her head.
“It’s okay, but no,” the 66-year-old momager told Corden before the machine determined she was telling the truth. “Oh, I’m glad we cleared that up.”
In May, Ray J, 41, claimed his sex tape leak was a “deal and partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me.”
The trio reportedly wanted to emulate the same level of success and fame as their close family friend, Paris Hilton, whose sex tape had also been leaked.
“When I presented the idea to her [Kardashian]just playing around for a bit, then she jumped on the idea, talked to her mum and it was out of my hands from there,” he told the Daily Mail.
Ray J – whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr. is – claimed that the founder of the Skim gave her the tape and Jenner then shared it with Vivid Entertainment. He further claimed that they had signed a contract for three tapes, but only one tape from a trip to Cabo was made public.
Dating the reality star from 2003 to 2006, the “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” alum also claimed he never had a band, even calling rumors that he’d leaked it “the industry’s biggest lie in entertainment history.” “
“For the rest of my life I will live in my truth and not in the lie invented by Kris Jenner and Kim,” he said at the time. “I won’t let them do this to me anymore.”
