It’s a rare family affair!
Kate Upton and Justin Verlander stepped out to the red carpet of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game on Tuesday with a very special guest – their adorable 3-year-old daughter, Genevieve.
The genetically blessed trio posed for photos at the event at LA Live, holding hands, with the real star of the night – Genevieve – claiming her place between mom and dad.
The little toddler wore a sparkly yellow dress, silver sandals and pearl jewelry for the outing, flashing a big smile for the cameras.
Meanwhile, her famous mother, 30, opted for a white one-shoulder mini dress with a bow at the waist. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model also wore silver sandals — only hers had a stiletto heel.
As for Verlander, the 39-year-old Houston Astros pitcher went with a glittery gold suit to match his daughter, which he paired with a plain white T-shirt and crisp white sneakers to match his wife.
Upton later shared on Instagram that it was “so nice to have the family together” to support Verlander in his ninth All-Star experience.
She then took “a moment to brag about” [her] husband,” who had Tommy John surgery on his elbow in October 2020 — an operation in which the torn ligament of an arm is replaced with a healthy tendon removed from the person’s arm or leg.
Verlander “had to stop playing for nearly 2 years” due to the surgery, as Upton noted in her IG post, but returned to the pitching mound in April of this year.
“He has put in so much work to be where he is today. He continues to break records and achieve new milestones in his career,” Upton marveled.
“I’m so proud of you @justinverlander! ️.”
Upton and Verlander dated for three years before getting engaged in 2016. After the Astros’ first-ever World Series win in 2017, the pair celebrated by tying the knot in Tuscany, Italy.
Genevieve Upton Verlander arrived in November 2018, while Norman – the family dog - came home last year.
