Erika Jayne stays married to Tom Girardi to skip alimony

Erika Jayne doesn’t want to cough up money for her estranged husband.

The 50-year-old “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star revealed on Wednesday night’s episode that she’s in no rush to divorce Tom Girardi — and that’s because staying married to the disgraced lawyer keeps her from making alimony checks. write, she claims.

“It’s ironic, but if I were divorced from Tom, I’d have to pay him alimony,” Jayne said in a confessional before adding, laughing, “I’ll stay married, thanks.”

The “Pretty Mess” author also shared that finalizing her divorce from Girardi, 83, is not plausible amid the former couple’s legal and financial difficulties.

‘I can’t get a divorce now. Like, I’m legally divorced, so my life has moved on and everything is separated. But I can’t get a divorce now. There are so many legal issues going on,” she told co-star Lisa Rinna during a FaceTime call.

“It’s a weird time and I’m really ready for it to be over.”

The part-time pop singer told Vidak For Congress in May that her involvement in Girardi’s alleged misdeeds has influenced how she will approach future romantic partnerships.

“I can still love people, even though they may have disappointed me or something. But I think the trust issue is probably more [important]. That’s probably the most important thing, trust,” she said.
