Kate Bosworth is officially divorced from Michael Polish.
The actress, 39, filed for divorce in a Los Angeles court on Friday, ET reports.
It comes nearly a year after Bosworth announced that she and the Polish, 51, were breaking up after nearly eight years of marriage.

Bosworth shared a black and white photo of the former couple kissing in August 2021, accompanied by a lengthy caption revealing the news.
“The beginning is often the best part of love. Fireworks, magnets, rebellion – the attraction,” she wrote in the post at the time.
“The beginning signals a wide-open expanse of possibility. Share a burger with someone when you fall in love, and you can die happy knowing this is your last meal. Buy a bottle of whiskey and share photos, pour me a waterfall, she continued, referring to the honeymoon in relationships.
Bosworth concluded, “Inherently we fear an end. Losing what you have because you got what you wanted. To cling to the expectation of the outcome. The great unknown. What if we choose not to be afraid, but to love If that most delicate and vulnerable last flicker to the flame became a different type of furnace altogether. Perhaps this sounds strange to some, to others romantic. To us: This is the truth.”
The couple started dating in 2011 after he directed her in “Big Sur.” They got engaged in August 2012 and said their “I dos” the following year.
The ‘Blue Crush’ star has since moved on with fellow actor Justin Long.
The ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ actor confirmed he was dating someone in December 2021, and Vidak For Congress broke the news that his special lady was none other than Bosworth.
She had hinted she had feelings for Long, 44, in May 2021 when she gushed over him in an interview
“Holy moly @justinlong you are a truly spectacular/cute/funny/kind/rare/attentive/total. fckn. rad human being ,” she wrote in an Instagram post at the time.
“THANK YOU for lifting us up… you kept it light and full of laughter every day, even during the most difficult moments. Your gnome how much I love you 💛 (sorry had to ;).”
