Her Majesty shows him “All of the Lights”.
The death of Queen Elizabeth II has given Kanye West some perspective on how he wants to treat others — not long after he publicly toasted Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson.
“Life is precious,” the 45-year-old rapper wrote in an Instagram post on Friday, adding: “Today, letting go of all resentments. Leaning into the light.”
He included two throwback portraits of the late monarch wearing her crown.
West shared the cryptic note just one day after the Queen died at the age of 96 following a historic 70-year reign as British monarch.
The Grammy winner’s change of heart comes almost a week after he shared a series of Instagram posts attacking Kardashian, 41, for not letting him have a say in where their four kids go to school. They share North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm 3.
West dragged the reality star through the mire because their kids attended a private school in Los Angeles instead of his educational venture, Donda Academy.
He also posted about several significant others of the Kardashian-Jenner women, calling them “cm donors.”
“Calling my fellow cm donors [sic] We in this 2nd [sic]’ he captioned a message, which was accompanied by a black photo that read ‘Tristan, Travis, Scott,’ referring to Tristan Thompson, Travis Scott and Scott Disick.
Another post during West’s wild rant included his confession that he was addicted to pornography.
“Don’t let Kris [Jenner] let your playboy do like she did [Kylie Jenner] and Kim do,” he began in the post, targeting Kylie’s former assistant Victoria Villarroel. “Hollywood is a giant brothel. Pornography has destroyed my family. I’m dealing with the addiction that Instagram promotes. I won’t let it happen to Northy and Chicago.”
The Yeezy founder also took a closer look at his ex-wife’s ex-boyfriend, Davidson, and told fans to “Ask Pete how my kids’ tattoos are doing in the trauma unit.”
But shortly after speaking out, West scrubbed his Instagram of all the controversial posts.
Since then, West has argued with Addidas and Gap over their Yeezy collaborations.
The Queen’s death may have enabled West to turn a new page, but given that he has broadcast his family business on social media in the past, time will tell.
Buckingham Palace announced that the Queen died on Thursday after being told earlier in the day that she had been placed “under medical supervision”.
Her immediate relatives rushed to be at her bedside, signaling that her time was near.
The Queen’s son, King Charles III, spoke out about his mother’s death, sharing that it was “a moment of the greatest sorrow for [him] and all members of [his] family.”
The Queen will be buried with her parents and late husband, Prince Philip, in the King George VI Memorial Chapel in Windsor Castle.
