Joe Giudice gushed about ex-wife Teresa Giudice’s gorgeous bridal look after she married Luis “Louie” Ruelas over the weekend.
“Teresa looked like a princess,” Joe, 50, told Us Weekly on Monday.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star’s wedding look caught the eye when she wore an off-the-shoulder dress by Mark Zunino, a crystal tiara, and a veil embroidered with the Italian phrase “Semper Insieme,” which translates to “Always Together”.
Her larger-than-life hairstyle consisted of over 1,500 bobby pins, $7,500 worth of real hair extensions, and a $2,500 bill to style the updo.
“I am very happy for her. She deserves all the happiness in the world,” Joe continued. “I think Lou is a good guy. Anything negative is said to be just rumors that I don’t partake in. Until I personally find out otherwise, he’s OK in my book.”
Teresa, also 50, previously told Vidak For Congress that Ruelas was much more involved in planning their wedding than Joe was at their October 1999 wedding.
However, Joe said in his latest interview that both ceremonies were “equally special and beautiful in their own unique way.”
Joe also told the outlet he wasn’t “surprised” that Teresa’s brother and sister-in-law Joe and Melissa Gorga — who he’s been feuding with for years — ditched the wedding at the last minute.
“They’re unpredictable,” he said. “If I want to [Luis] good luck with his new in-laws.”
Teresa and Joe broke up in December 2019 and finalized their divorce in September 2020 after 20 years of marriage. The exes share four daughters — Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13 — who made Teresa bridesmaids.
Joe is currently living in the Bahamas after serving three years in prison for fraud and being deported in 2018.
Teresa and Ruelas got engaged in October 2021 after dating for about a year.
The lovebirds tied the knot on Saturday at the Chateau Estate in East Brunswick, NJ.
