Jodie Turner-Smith lashes out at Kanye West over ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt

Jodie Turner-Smith taunted the “disgusting” Kanye West after the rapper wore a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt to his surprise at the Yeezy fashion show.

“I thought he said he was trying to bring people together???” the actress wrote via Instagram Stories Monday, adding, “fake and disgusting and embarrassing.”

“Please go and touch some grass and stop sharing your toxic thoughts,” the “Queen & Slim” star continued.

The 36-year-old’s statement was written on one of West’s social media posts, which read, “WHEN I SEI WAR I MEANT WAR.”

The model, who is married to Joshua Jackson, went on to share other users’ thoughts on West’s Paris Fashion Week show, including Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith.

‘I don’t care who it is. If I don’t feel the message, I’m gone. Black Lives Matter,” the singer, 24, tweetedreferring to his decision to leave the show early.

Turner-Smith shared another post, this one written by Vas J Morgan, reading: “As one of his fans and biggest cheerleaders, it’s extremely disappointing that Kanye West has used his incredibly large platform today to help us, as black people, ages back to put. “

“This is much deeper than a T-shirt. This is terrible.”

The “White Noise” star also posted a screenshot of a comment from producer Van Lathan.

“We don’t need a reminder of the value of white lives,” it said. “America is a sanctuary for white people. This message is a response to a message affirming the value of black lives, which have never been worth anything in America.”

After writing, “FOR DAMAGE. WHAT AN END TO THE WEEK,” Turner-Smith concluded her reposts by adding a breaking heart emoji to a paragraph from Vogue’s Raven Smith.

“Can I just say that I am genuinely offended for the black woman who walked down the catwalk wearing a garment with a racist response to a major civil rights movement?” wrote the reporter.

When West later taunted Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson for throwing his shirt away, Gigi Hadid called him a “joke” and a “bully” via Instagram.

Photos of West and Candace Owens wearing the same shirts went viral on Monday, and the Grammy winner later called the Black Lives Matter movement a “scam.”

The ‘Heartless’ singer went on to tell his Instagram followers, “Now it’s over, you’re welcome.”

West’s show sparked fierce backlash on Twitter, with one user to write“Sending a ‘WHITE LIVES MATTER’ t-shirt down a catwalk in Paris is literally madness and no amount of gospel will get that man through the gates of heaven, I’m so sorry.”
