Jamie Spears ‘saved’ Britney’s life

He’s fed up.

Kevin Federline claims Britney Spears’ father Jamie Spears saved the pop star’s life by becoming her conservator after a breakdown.

In a great interview with ’60 Minutes Australia’, the singer’s ex-husband was asked if the conservatory ‘saved’ Britney’s life, to which he replied: ‘100%’, adding: ‘I feel like he [Jamie] then saved her.”

Federline – who shares sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15, with Britney – said he was not involved in Jamie’s decision to place the “Toxic” singer under the law.

“I wasn’t involved in it, so I really don’t know how the conservatory came about. I don’t know whose decision it was,” he said.

“All I know is that you have a family that is concerned about their daughter and is trying to do everything they can to help her.”

The former backing dancer also revealed that Sean Preston and Jayden were overjoyed when their mother’s 13-year conservatory officially ended in November 2021.

“They were both so happy for her, you know? Because it’s not always about what’s right. It’s about this is what [she] wanted, you know, [she] got,” explained Federline, 44.

However, Federline claimed that his children eventually decided to spend time without Britney, 40.

“The boys have decided they don’t see her now,” Federline continued. “It’s been a few months since they actually saw her.”

Jayden, who also appeared in the segment, shared how he believed his grandfather was just trying to help his mother.

“He was trying to be like any father, chasing his daughter’s dream of becoming a superstar, working and doing all these concerts and gigs,” Jayden claimed. “But I think some people just don’t realize how much he cares about her.”

The teen also provided insight into why he and his brother decided not to attend Britney’s wedding to Sam Asghari in June.

“I’m really happy for them. But, like, I mean… She didn’t invite the whole family, and if it was me and Preston, I wouldn’t know how that situation would have ended well,” Jayden said.

Britney’s estranged relatives – including her father, mother Lynne Spears and sister Jamie Lynn Spears – were also not present at the wedding.

Federline hasn’t been shy about broadcasting family drama lately. He revealed earlier this month that their children haven’t seen Britney in six months.

He also posted private videos of Britney allegedly yelling at her sons on his Instagram, only to delete the posts hours later.

“I can’t sit back and let my sons accuse like this after what they’ve been through. As much as it hurts us, as a family we have decided to post these videos,” Federline captioned the video at the time.

Sources exclusively told Vidak For Congress that Federline and their children were concerned about Britney’s mental health. Jayden even shared in an interview that he believed Britney was “struggling” to give him and Preston “attention” and “equal love.”

Britney responded via Instagram, saying she was deeply saddened to discover Jayden’s “outrage at not living up to his expectations of a mother”.

In another post, shared Monday, Britney said, “Do you guys want me to get well so I can keep giving your dad $40,000 a month? … Or is the reasoning behind you guys deciding to be hateful because it’s is actually over in two years and you get nothing?”
