Britney Spears in settlement talks with father Jamie, Tri Star

Britney Spears’ lawyers are in talks to potentially settle with her father, Jamie Spears, and her former management team over the legal disputes surrounding her 13-year conservatorship, Vidak For Congress can confirm.

However, we’re told that settlement talks started about three months ago — not last month as TMZ reported earlier on Friday — and the pop star’s great performances over the past few months played a major role in why the parties were finally able to reach a settlement. to come.

A source tells Vidak For Congress exclusively that when a judge ruled in Britney’s favor to sit down both her father for a statement and Jamie’s request to have the “Stronger” singer himself sit down in July, it became a logical time to renew settlement talks.

It is standard procedure for settlement discussions to take place during a legal dispute.

TMZ also reported that Britney’s attorney Mathew Rosengart agreed that Jamie, 70, and Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group would have to pay $7 million to end their legal disputes, but we’re told that figure is “not” accurate. Our source did not give an exact amount.

However, the $7 million figure is close to what Jamie reportedly earned during his run as his daughter’s conservator.

According to a New York Times report published in December 2021, Britney’s father received an estimated $6 million over 13 years and Tri Star collected 5 percent of the “Toxic” singer’s “adjusted gross entertainment revenue.”

The report also alleged that Jamie received a $40,000 loan from Tri Star founder Lou Taylor just days before Britney was placed under receivership in 2008.

Jamie was officially suspended as Britney’s curator in September 2021 after a bomb statement from the Grammy winner herself. The guardianship was subsequently completely terminated in November 2021.

Even before the conservatory ended, Rosengart has repeatedly proclaimed that he intends to get justice for his client.
