“Good Morning America” meteorologist Rob Marciano is weathering the storm of divorce by spending time at the beach and taking part in relaxing activities.
“In times of crisis, fly a kite,” Rob wrote on his Instagram Story last weekend, sharing a photo of his feet up with the beach in the background and his kite in the sky.
He enjoyed the beach day with his children, daughter Madelynn, 10, and son Mason, 4, after it was revealed that his now estranged wife, Eryn, quietly filed for divorce last year.
“The past few years have been very difficult,” Marciano, 54, told Vidak For Congress in a statement on Thursday. “I didn’t want this and tried to save the marriage, but unfortunately we are getting a divorce. My focus is now on my children.”
Eryn never responded to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.
Rob and Eryn, a real estate agent at Compass, were married for 11 years before filing a petition to end the marriage on June 18, 2021, according to data from the Westchester County Supreme Court.
Their family home in Rye, NY, was also sold for $2.7 million earlier this month, according to data seen by Vidak For Congress.
Despite the divorce, the former couple appears to be amicably co-parenting their children as they took both of their children to Walt Disney World earlier this year.
“Spring Break @waltdisneyworld – through the chaos was much needed quality time for kids – their joy is as we say #magic ☺️,” Rob captioned a series of photos of the family enjoying their trip.
Eryn also gave Rob a heartwarming shoutout on Father’s Day last year, even though she filed for divorce just two days earlier.
