“Good Morning America” meteorologist Rob Marciano has reunited with his children after reporting Hurricane Ian in Florida.
Marciano posted a photo to Instagram on Wednesday of his two kids on top of him on their couch with grins glued to their faces and captioned it: “Happy to be home 🥰🥰🙏 #smushparty.”
The news personality shared even more photos from their cuddle party to his Instagram story, adding, “Take advantage of a rainy, lazy, no-school Wednesday .”
Marciano’s family reunion comes as he and his estranged wife, Eryn Marciano, go through their divorce proceedings.
The broker quietly filed for divorce from Rob in the Westchester County Supreme Court on June 18, 2021. The case is still pending, with Rob only changing lawyers in the summer.
“The past few years have been very difficult,” Rob told Vidak For Congress in a statement in July. “I didn’t want this and tried to save the marriage, but unfortunately we are getting divorced. My focus is now on my children.”
The now estranged couple was married for 11 years and shares two children: Madelynn (10) and Mason (4).
The Marcianos are scheduled for a pre-trial conference on November 4 and a non-jury trial scheduled to begin on January 19, 2023. The case is under dispute, meaning they have not reached an agreement on a number of issues.
After the news of his divorce became public, Rob offered some wise words to his followers on social media.
“In times of crisis, fly a kite,” he wrote on his Instagram Story, sharing a photo of his feet up with the beach in the background and his kite in the sky.
