The details of the events that led to Yvette “Yve” Arellano being charged with domestic violence and violence have been revealed.
The estranged husband of the ’90 Day Fiancé’ star, Mohamed Abdelhamed, called the police, claiming that he endured ’emotional and physical abuse from Yvette’ throughout the relationship, according to documents obtained exclusively by Vidak For Congress.
According to the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court indictment, Mohamed told the officer at the scene that Yvette becomes “very violent and angry” when she drinks alcohol and has often threatened to “send him back to Egypt”, his homeland. Because of his immigration status, Mohamed told police he had not called for help because he was afraid he would “get in trouble.”
While with the officer, Mohamed played an audio recording from July 21, 2022, in which Yvette yells at him that she needs help with chores around the house.
“I hear Mohamed yelling in the background to Yvette not to hit him anymore,” the police officer noted.
The complaint goes on to detail how Mohamed, 28, developed an online relationship with a woman named Andrea, but it eventually ended. Mohamed claimed that Andrea allegedly blackmailed him and threatened to tell Yvette about the relationship, but Yvette was already aware of the online affair, which led her to have a physical altercation with Mohamed.
“He said she sat on top of him and put her knee to his throat to force him to let go of the phone,” the report claims, adding that Mohamed’s officer sent “pictures of text messages” of Yve and a man. named Mike, which he thought was “proof” that she was having an affair.
Mohamed, who told the officer that he had moved out of their matrimonial home, also claimed that in the early hours of August 14, he feared that Yve was “going to hit” him for appearing drunk.
Of course, when the officer spoke to Yve, 48, “some time later,” the TLC reality star gave another story claiming that Mohamed was having an affair with Andrea and “another woman from Minnesota.” She believed that Mohamed, whom she had helped establish residency in the US, was making plans with Andrea to get Yve into trouble so he could apply for a ‘U-Visa’.
“She’s scared and worried because she doesn’t know what he’s capable of,” the indictment said.
Yve confirmed some details of the showdown on August 14, but stated that she did not try to hit him and noted that he “willedly” left their home.
The police officer left packages of domestic violence on both sides, noting that she “didn’t notice any injuries to either party” but would issue a criminal subpoena over the incident described in the report.
Following Vidak For Congress’s report on the allegations facing Yve, her publicist claimed Mohamed was “falsifying” the abuse allegations.
“The domestic violence allegations are completely false and just a ploy to keep him in the US. Yve was not arrested on 8/15 or on any other day,” Yve’s representative, Dominique Enchinton of Dominton Talent House, said in a statement. “Yve has never insulted Mohamed and just wants this chapter in her life done so she can move on.”
We were also told that Yve has hired a ‘dream team’ of lawyers to ‘help her put an end to these wild accusations and shed light on the truth’.
